IELTS Coaching Overview
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a widely recognized English proficiency test. It was first introduced in 1980 and has since become one of the most popular English language tests worldwide. IELTS is widely recognized and accepted by universities, colleges, employers, and governments around the world as evidence of English language proficiency.
How to Prepare for IELTS Exam?
Listening
In this test, you have to listen to a four recorded texts, monologues, and conversations, and answer questions that is played to you, and you have to answer 40 questions related to the text. You have 30 minutes to complete the test. Each correct answer receives 1 mark.
Speaking
The speaking test is taken separately and may last for 10 minutes to half an hour, depending on the test conductor. The examiner sees how fluent your English is and if you can or cannot communicate in English with ease.
Reading
This portion of the test requires you to read 3 passages which are provided to you. Each piece is allowed 20 minutes each.
Writing
This test section has two parts:
- Short portion (150 words): You have to describe the provided task in about 150 words, showcasing your ability to explain it clearly.
- Long portion (200 words): You provide your opinion on a given situation, demonstrating your proficiency in expressing views and opinions in English
